Marine Studies at COA
The Marine Studies at COA blog is intended to be a forum to highlight and discuss marine research and classwork by College of the Atlantic students, staff, and faculty, and as a place to post summaries of other work in marine studies that we find fun, interesting, or generally awesome. Posts are made by the editors, as well as by student and faculty guests. Although a major audience of the blog is the COA community, we also hope that others will find it exciting and worthwhile.
We encourage people to comment on posts. Link to posts on twitter, facebook, or other social media. Share.
Have something exciting you want to share?
If you’re COA community member and are interested in posting your own work, or having a specific project written up, send us a note at firstname.lastname@example.org with a description of your post and we will get back to you. If you have done something that you think is worth a writeup, you can either do it yourself or work with one of the editors on the post. It doesn’t have to be local, we are also interested in keeping up to date in the marine world!
Other resources at this site
In addition to the blog, we also want to use this site to provide resources for students such as marine scholarship, internship, and graduate school information. There are links to all of the COA professor web pages, so if you want to find out more about a particular professor you should be able get there from here.
